Mannitol prior to radiosurgery reduces peritumoral edema and tumor volume of brain metastasis from lung primary

We herein, present a case of brain metastasis from a lung primary that responded promptly to a trial of mannitol, leading to decreased tumor size and subsequently reduced irradiated tumor volume, facilitating the delivery of a higher Radiotherapy (RT) dose.
